Year: 2024
Sector: Art
Location: Prague, Czech Republic
Recognized for his impact on fashion, film, and photography, Bruce Weber has captured some of Hollywood’s most iconic figures through his lens, while also portraying landscapes, animals, and diverse cultures with a unique visual narrative. From September 2024 to January 2025, the GHMP Prague City Gallery presented My Education, an exhibition dedicated to his work. Our studio was responsible for developing the exhibition’s visual identity for digital media and press communications, as well as designing advertising graphics for the city, displayed on bus stops, trams, and the metro. We also worked on the wall and room texts, providing context to the exhibition.
One of the main challenges of the project was coordinating efforts between the artist’s team in New York and the gallery’s team in Prague. The identity needed to capture not only Weber’s extensive career in film and advertising but also his unique ability to tell stories through photography and video.
For the exhibition’s graphics, we designed simple yet elegant posters featuring a selection of strikingly contrasting photographs—portraits of celebrities, animals, dancers, and artists—reflecting the breadth of his work. These images were set against a cornflower blue gradient, accompanied by details on the location, dates, and exhibition collaborators, resulting in a refined visual identity that aligned with the spirit of the show.
The exhibition was curated by Helena Musilová and Nathaniel Kilcer. Production was led by GHMP, MILOSH STUDIO, and Bruce Weber, with Milosh Harajda and Nan Bush as creative producers. Executive production was overseen by Marketa Tomková, while the film archive was managed by Eva M. Lindemann.
The architectural and exhibition design was created by Marek Cpin, while the graphic identity was developed by Pérez Studio. Communication and public relations were led by Alice Titzová, Svetluska Von, Kafeka, and Jana Smrk.
The exhibition was supported by Carollinum, The House Art, and FS Prague, while event production was managed by Zuzana Augustin Poláčková and Vizoo Image Agency.
